Roast Battle League NYC is the city’s premier group of comedy combatants, and I wanted to create custom merchandise to reflect that. Show runner and two-time Coney Island Comedy Festival winner Dan Wickes wanted distinctively New York imagery so I reworked a vintage Statue of Liberty line engraving to hold up the comedian’s weapon of choice - the microphone. The gothic title lettering recalls the iron-on letters of NYC’s original breakdancing crews of the ‘70s and ‘80s.
















S.G. GOODMAN HOMETOWN COLLECTION

ROLE: ART DIRECTION, ILLUSTRATION, AND GRAPHIC DESIGN
 Singer-songwriter S.G. Goodman has always been proud of her background, especially her deep working class Kentucky roots. To her, the cyress tree represents the resilience and steadfast resolve of the bluegrass state’s people so I decided to use that as a common theme throughout. I created the line engraving style illustration as a nod to vintage farmer’s alamanac editions, with a simplified version modified for trucker hat embroidery. The green color palette was inspired by the region’s heritage agricultural machinery.

I created the below t-shirt design as a promotional item to help boost preorder sales for the highly anticipated INISE physical album for comedian Bo Burnham. As a tribute to the fans, I created a front logo based off of a comedy bit from the film as a running joke. The entirety of the special was filmed in a single location, and I illustrated a symmetrical isometric drawing inspired by the space itself for the back print.
